Gwenn Schurgin O’Keeffe, M.D., J.D., has been one of the leading voices in digital media and internet safety for twenty years. Initially as a pediatrician and now a mediator and coach, her active engagement with parents, community and medical groups globally has helped raise awareness on the multitude of health and legal issues facing our families, digital kids and teens. Dr. Gwenn’s journey into mediation coaching began in her training as a pediatrician where she learned the skills to communicate with families and help them resolve difficult family and life situations. She continued to hone those skills over her 25-year career. Whether in practice or as a digital health expert, Dr. Gwenn’s goal was to help families live their lives by their own paths. O’Keeffe Family Mediation and Coaching’s aim is to continue to help families – parents, individuals, teens – in their quest to achieve their own goals. To continue to help people grow, Dr. Gwenn continues her own education and is also a life coach, nutrition coach and holistic health coach.

Dr. Gwenn recognized during law school that combining her pediatrics training and digital health expertise with her mediation training and techniques would allow her to help more people – to bridge a gap that was missing for too many families Noted in law school for her skills in mediation and conflict resolution, Dr. Gwenn decided to continue her pursuit in mediation after law school and is now trained in general mediation, divorce mediation, elder and family mediation.
